Sound bath FAQ

Questions about sound baths.

New to sound baths, sound meditation, or private sound healing sessions? These answers explain what to expect before joining or booking a SlowMuse gathering.

What is a sound bath?

A sound bath is a meditative listening experience where you rest while instruments such as crystal singing bowls, voice, chimes, or other resonant tools create waves of sound. The word bath refers to being immersed in vibration rather than water. A SlowMuse sound bath is held as a quiet ritual for deep rest, presence, and nervous system softness.

What happens during a sound bath?

During a sound bath with Gabi, you are usually invited to lie down or sit comfortably, soften your breath, and receive the tones of crystal singing bowls. Sessions may include gentle grounding, intention setting, voice activation, or integration depending on the event or private booking.

What are sound baths good for?

Many people come to sound baths for relaxation, meditation, emotional release, stress support, creative reset, and a deeper connection with the body. Sound healing is not a replacement for medical care, but it can be a beautiful complementary ritual for rest, reflection, and inner spaciousness.

Do I need experience with meditation or sound healing?

No experience is needed. Sound baths are beginner-friendly and require no performance, technique, or spiritual background. You simply arrive, get comfortable, listen, and allow the sound meditation to meet you where you are.

Can I book a private sound bath with Gabi?

Yes. Gabi offers private sound baths for studios, retreats, ceremonies, women circles, workplaces, and intimate gatherings. Private sound bath bookings can be shaped around rest, grounding, voice activation, group connection, or a bespoke ritual intention.

Where are SlowMuse sound bath events held?

SlowMuse sound bath events and private sessions are often held in Denmark, including Copenhagen, and can also be arranged for retreats or gatherings in other locations. Share your venue, group size, and preferred date through the booking form so Gabi can explore what is possible.
